![]() ![]() ![]() Reboot into the new partion and follow the usual process.Partition the internal drive using Disk Utility.I had enough space on my internal disk to partition it so I could try it out without losing everything. However, an Apple Genius whom I consulted on a different matter did mention that doing this and restoring from a Time Machine backup to a fresh setup actually does things differently. Needless to say, I was reluctant to try that. This doesn’t resolve why the problem arose in the first place, but it certainly fixed the problem.Īfter spending many hours with Apple support, somebody finally suggested that I reinstall the whole thing and start again. despite the accepted answer, the question is not really answered.the asker says that TM also does incremental backups.I am aware of this question: Time Machine keeps doing full backups As a desperation move, they now want me to do a clean install, which, in my opinion is going too far, and certainly not something I am enthusiastic. I have spent countless hour with Apple support. putting chicken feathers in a paper bag and waving it around my head.removing some software suspected of interfering with TM.deleting the plist, as per Pondini’s web site.I have tried everything I can think of, including: So I am convinced that they’re all full backups. After about 18 backups, it starts deleting old backups. The space left on the drive corresponds to multiplying the number of backups by the full amount of data.On the Preferences panel it tells me that it is backing up … GB of 131 GB.Each backup takes a very long time so long that it cannot backup hourly because it’s still completing the last backup. How can I get Time Machine to make proper incremental backups, as it’s supposed to? However, I find that every TM backup appears to be a full backup, not an incremental backup. As with my previous machine, I use Time Machine to backup on to an external 2Tb hard disk. It has an internal Apple-Supplied 512Gb SSD, of which about 140 Gb is used. Hi, I can't clear the delivery queue or remove the one message that seems to be my problem from the delivery queue:Ĭould not find file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\hMailServer\Data\.eml'.I have a new iMac running OSX 10.12.4. The delivery queue holds one message that the server apparently can't send. When I try to clear the queue or remove the message it remains there. Repeating the same errormessages over and over again: At the same time my log files are being filled up, until they reach 4 GB size. "ERROR"ē468 " 13:19:05.404" "Severity: 3 (Medium), Code: HM5006, Source: SMTPDeliverer::DeliverMessage(), Description: Message 308143 could not be delivered since the data file does not exist." "ERROR"đ524 " 13:19:05.403" "Severity: 3 (Medium), Code: HM5006, Source: SMTPDeliverer::DeliverMessage(), Description: Message 308143 could not be delivered since the data file does not exist." it should answer anything in particular i got this in the mx section. I have tried to put a file with the name stated in the message of the delivery queue in the data directory, but the file is being deleted just after creation, and nothing happens. ![]() Ive fixed it, it was pretty simple, since we are 2 ppl doing tests well the other person actually added to the list of domains in zimbra, therefore, the conflict. The message does not appear in the hm_messagerecipients table and I can't find the message anywhere in the database based on it's messageid. How can I remove the message from the delivery queue?Įverything else works fine, but I can't have my logs filled up all the time and I need to have logging enabled. So something is different with yours (I'm using an external MYSQL). Have you tried right-clicking on the message in the queue and using remove from that menu? - that worked for me too. If you're comfortable with it you could try and remove the reference from the db manually but its in more than one place, or you could go down the data synchroniser route but if you have imap folders you will lose all the structure etc etc. If your installation is small enough for the internal backup to work you could take advantage of the fact that it doesn't backup queued mail. Backup/clear or move everything/restore everything but the normal cautions apply. ![]()
